I had an accident leaving me with a physical disability, I had to have ops, medication, counselling, and attend a pain management clinic in Bath for a month.
I live with chronic pain 24/7 and I had to learn how to manage my pain, not my pain manage me.
I had to change a lot about who I was, to the who I am now. Not only from a physical point of view but a mental and emotional point of view.
So with all the 19 years of change I managed to work through so much to change to the new normal.
I had counselling, CBT, IAPT, anger management, for the emotional roller coaster I had to go through. Not finding that coounsellor who could get me, understand me and not make it seam it was all in my head.
